Write The Vision?.... Nah, I'm Good

      So, we all have heard people talking about "writing the vision" right? It's a bible scripture that so many people use. When I first heard this, I was like, that's stoooopid. (And I know I am not the only one.) In my mind I was like, how does writing something on a piece of paper equate to things happening? Do I have to use a special piece of paper? Will a fairy come through and sprinkle pixie dust on it and it just manifest? How does this work? I just thought it was........ dumb. So for the longest, I avoided it. I did.
​       What I didn't know was that the writing was to serve as a constant reminder to me about what I said I wanted out of my life. Because the brain is only so big, most things get forgotten and pushed out of our mind. So while I was bucking against this writing the vision, I was forgetting everything that I once said I wanted to do. That got EXTREMELY frustrating to me. I would want to do something, forget about it, then get mad when I saw someone else doing it and succeeding. So I said forget it, decided to try it and guess what? It worked! I was no longer just forgetting those great ideas and I was getting stuff done!!! Now I have sticky notes and journals all over the place to remind myself of all these A-MAZING ideas that pop up in the strangest moments. Lol. But not just that. I also remind myself to be kind to and love on me as well.
​      I can honestly say that what I thought was stoooopid and dumb actually worked out for my good. And, if it worked for me, it can work for you too. Just try it and see. Get you some sticky notes, a journal, some pens and start writing those great ideas down that you, and not somebody else, is supposed to do and get the credit for. It does work. I'm a living testimony. So write the vision and make it plain so you can GET IT DONE! 💜💜💜
